My girl got new mittens knitted by her Great Grandma Mary, she is 20 months old already, we have all soft (or plastic) ornaments on the tree, we most likely won’t get around to sending out cards this year, on our fourth ear infection since October, and we are still as obsessed as ever with our “babo”. Happy December!

I’ve been struggling a lot lately. Being a full time stay at home mom because of the global pandemic has taken a toll on me and my business. This week my husband took us for a mental health day on the boat and although I was stressed about trying to finish a million things it felt so good to get some sun on my face. The first time all summer I got to wear our matching @ryleeandcru coverups before she outgrew hers. Naturally I made Devin snap a picture so it looks like I have it all together. And somehow when I look back at this moment … nothing else really matters.

It’s hard to take a picture of a ONE YEAR OLD. She can only wear this shirt once so it was the best I could get before it was covered in strawberries and blueberries and she passed out for her afternoon nap. Happy Birthday, my sweet girl. Mommy loves you!
