Not sure if being from New York makes you totally batshit crazy or really awesome. Either way I’ve always attributed it to my insane work ethic and ability to juggle a million things at once. I almost work better that way, which is ludicrous. This mood board has been so fun to pull from these past few days because working with local clients rocks. Same time zone, same vibe, way easier to relate in general. After wrapping up a whirlwind work week where I had to make some self sacrifices, I’m super happy that I got so much accomplished. As Frank Sinatra so famously said, “I want to wake up in a city that never sleeps and find I’m king of the hill, top of the heap.”
Lisa Mars came to me looking for a place she could grow her business full time. As a certified yoga instructor in the local community she wanted something that felt organic and relatable yet showcased her extensive knowledge about her practice. We created a conceptual mark for her new business venture that can grow with her whether it’s on the front door of her own studio or yoga mats in the future. We can’t wait for the full launch of mars.yoga … until then here is a sneak peek at the homepage.
Here is a client that I absolutely adored. Not only did I love to work with an edgier style but who doesn’t love pops of red mixed with black and gold. We are in full holiday swing over here and gearing up for some final projects to finish out the year. This past weekend I sent out a few Thank You cards to some of my most awesome clients just to let them know I’ve been thinking of them and I appreciate working with them. They do say it’s better to give then receive. What have you done to give a little extra this holiday? Stay tuned for more from this sexy client project.
Mood board peek at client’s new #site #redesign … super editorial and chic. So this weekend was spent doing lots of work and all unintentional. I just sat down at my desk to do one thing and ended up pretty inspired. I finally got around to verifying my business on Google and creating a Facebook Page for my business. I’m still in the air if I should separate my personal account with my business but the way I look at it is: if the people I care about don’t care about my business than do they really care about me?
Katie Quinn kills it in her career as a fashion stylist in New York City and beyond (she travels too)! We revamped her site a few months ago and I wanted to share the board we pulled our colors from. Very chic and sophisticated if you ask me.
If you’ve been following any of my updates on here you might have seen two mood boards that had been “rejected” by a client I had been working on a few months ago. Well I am finally ready to reveal the final board and later on this week the LOGO for this project. The site is not yet launched but I am excited to get this update off my plate. Here is a look at the board that helped us to set the stage for a feminie, luxury travel and extreme sports blog.
God so much work on my computer I’ve never put up online. It’s all just sitting here! I’m in the middle of giving my website an overhaul and it’s just so time consuming. I keep getting sucked into old file land or Pinterest or blogs – you name it. I needed to take a break so I opened up my text edit document and just started typing out this post. Well thank god for Friday, distractions and cool mood boards I’ve come across. I promise I am in the middle of trying to redesign a brand board for myself so I can make final boards of all the work that hasn’t been on my site but for now…enjoy this one. Cheers to the weekend!
